Mt Pleasant firefighters responded to a fire at a home on West Broadway Street on Friday night. Neighbors saw smoke coming from the garage about 6:20PM, and rushed to the home to tell residents Anthony Yager, his wife Nita, mother-in-law Betty and niece Kelly to get out. No one was injured. A cause of the fire hasn’t yet been determined.
