Mt Pleasant city commissioners voted to put new rules for garbage-pickup times on-hold. Commissioners were set to vote on an ordinance change that would restrict garbage pickup in the city between 8:00PM and 7:00AM in residential areas or commercial areas near residential areas. Commissioners want a work session to gather more information, and may vote on the matter again as soon as September 26th.
