Marshal Bob Hooker will retire on Sunday after 15 years patrolling Sherman Township. Hooker had planned to retire on December 31st had he been slated for the Isabella County interim sheriff position, but after Michael Main received the job, he moved the date up. The Sherman Township Board opted to dissolve the marshal’s office.
