Julia Griffin, the Mt Pleasant teen who died on Sunday, was with her father in the early-morning hours of the day when she fell into a coma after falling down the stairs. Her mother was asleep when two of her other children woke her to tell her that her daughter was seriously hurt. Gerald Griffin, Julia’s father, was arrested the next day for failing to report his correspondence with police to his probation officer.
