Five fire departments battled a blaze at an unoccupied Isabella County home early-Sunday morning. The call came in at 6:13AM for the two-story home at 1611 N. Vandecar Road in Nottawa Township. No owner lived in the home, but the electricity and some belongings remain. Local fire departments declared the home a total loss, and an investigation continues.
