The Great Lakes Loons hit their way into the playoff hunt with a 9-2 victory over the Fort Wayne TinCaps on Tuesday at Dow Diamond. Saige Jenco led the Loons with 3 RBI, while Erick Meza added two. If the season ended today, the Loons would occupy the final playoff spot in the Midwest League’s Eastern Division, overtaking the Lansing Lugnuts.
