One person is dead after an officer-involved shooting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Police say several cars and buildings were set on fire overnight after a police officer shot and killed 23-year-old Sylville Smith during a traffic stop Saturday afternoon.
According to police, Smith was holding a loaded gun and would not follow officer’s orders to put it down. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has activated the state’s National Guard to help.
