The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe entered into a community partnership to reintroduce medical and trauma care for victims of sexual assault or abuse in Isabella County. The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner program at McLaren Central Michigan provides services for those 12 years or older in need. The previous SANE program in the county ended in 2013 because of a reduction in grant funding.
