The Detroit Tigers stayed unbeaten against the Minnesota Twins, defeating the Twins 1-0 on Monday. Matt Boyd had his best start of the season, striking out seven and allowing only three hits in six scoreless innings. Justin Upton hit his 200th career home run mashing the lone run of the game over the left field wall. The Tigers have now won three of four since the All-Star break, and trail Toronto by 2 1/2 games for the final wild card spot.
