Jermaine Edmondson was granted a full release from the Michigan State Spartan football program after his involvement in an assault case against former MSU basketball star Draymond Green. The full release would allow Edmondson to play his final year of NCAA eligibility at another school. Green was arrested on Sunday following the incident. Edmondson was listed as a third-string cornerback on the MSU depth chart, and played 14 games last season.
