New Shepherd Police Chief Luke Sawyer officially started on Monday. Sawyer took the opportunity this week to meet people at local businesses to find out what they want in a police chief, and addressing concerns. Sawyer said he wants to keep what’s working, but also strives to improve for the benefit of the village.
