Despite a strong performance from starting pitcher Imani Abdullah, the Great Lakes Loons fell 2-1 to the Lansing Lugnuts on Wednesday at Dow Diamond. Abdullah pitched five scoreless innings with four hits and no walks, but Chris Powell allowed two runs in the 8th and 9th to blow the save and pave the way for the Lugnuts comeback victory. Noah Perio had two hits in the loss for the Loons.
