The Great Lakes Loons and Dayton Dragons saved all of their scoring for the 4th and 5th innings. Ultimately the Dragons bested the Loons 5-3 in the opener of a weekend series at Dow Diamond. Gage Green hit his 5th home run of the season, accounting for all three Loons runs. Victor Gonzalez surrendered five runs on seven hits in six innings pitched for the Loons.
