A quick change artist successfully pulled off a scam at a Mt Pleasant Speedway station and a Big Rapids gas station. The scammer tried to confuse cashiers by paying for expensive items with large bills, then aggressively throwing out small bills taking all of his own bills and change from the cashier. The drawer at the Speedway was off by $20. The scammer also tried to pull off the act unsuccessfully in Alma.
