Alma City Park Abduction Report a Misunderstanding

A reported attempted child abduction over the weekend in an Alma city park turned out to be a misunderstanding. Police say a grandmother was watching her 3-year-old granddaughter who was playing with two other children at Wright Park, when the children were called back to a van to leave for the night. When the 3-year-old went with them, the grandmother feared it was an abduction attempt and called police, but that was ultimately not the case.
