Add James Franco to the list of stars going super. The actor is confirming that he’s developing a superhero movie that he’ll producer and star in. Otherwise, he’s keeping the details hush hush.
“I don’t know how much I can say,” he adds. “It’s early stages. I think probably what I can say is, like anything, there’s a need to develop more.”
What Franco will cough up is that he and his team are focusing on pushing into “new ground” while still making an entertaining movie. Franco explains that similar to how “Deadpool” was almost an “action romantic comedy” and “Logan” was a western, he wants to push his superhero flick into a new genre.
