Art Walk Central: Artists Battle

Art Reach is hosting Artists Battle 2024 from 11 am-1 pm on Sunday, August 4, on Broadway in downtown Mt. Pleasant.
Artists will have two hours to complete a work of art from start to finish. The contest is open to all ages and media. Contestants will be divided into three categories: Youth (12 & under), Teen (13-19), and Adults (20+). This is a juried contest with one winner from each category. Winners will be announced at approximately 1:30 pm.
A cash prize of $750 will be awarded to the Adult Winner. A cash prize of $500 will be awarded to the Teen Winner. A cash prize of $250 will be awarded to the Youth Winner.
The artist must provide all supplies. Artists are expected to bring a table/chair/tent if desired. Electricity is not readily available; arrangements should be made, by the artist, ahead of time if electricity is required. Registration fee is $10 for Adults and Teens and $5 for Youth. After 5 pm, Thursday, August 1 registration fees double.
All participants receive free admission to Mikeyy Austin keynote at 7 pm on Saturday, August 3 (includes light refreshments)—Additional guests are $15/adult & $5/teens/youth.
