November snowfall was much heavier than average in Michigan. Several locations were in their top ten for November snowfall. Ironwood had the most snow in Michigan this November, with 40 inches of snow. The snow wasn’t confined to the Upper Peninsula. Southern Lower Michigan also had an abnormally heavy amount of snow as well.
