Results from water testing by the state have come back for some areas of Isabella County. Mt Pleasant and the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe no detectable levels of 2 dangerous PFAS. However one of 3 sites in Union Twp. Had detectable levels. PFAS can be found in firefighting foams, stain repellents, nonstick cookware, waterproof clothing, food wrappers, and many other household products. More follow up tests are planned.
