Even though Christian Slater knew that Rami Malek was talented, he wasn’t completely convinced that his former “Mr. Robot” costar could handle the role of Freddie Mercury in “Bohemian Rhapsody.” After seeing the film, he changed his view. “It was just extraordinary, I was so blown away by the movie and his performance, in particular,” Slater said. “He morphed himself into becoming Freddie Mercury, which is really an astronomical job because those shoes are so huge to fill.”
