John Goodman opened up about the infamous tweets from his “Roseanne” co-star Roseanne Barr – and the resulting cancellation of the show. Among other things, he said he was surprised by her tweets since “she’s not a racist.”
Not surprisingly, Barr is pretty grateful – and has taken to Twitter to express her gratitude for the actor’s comments. “I thank John Goodman for speaking truth about me,” she writes. “Despite facing certain peril from producers and network.”
Barr doesn’t only have Goodman to thank, however. Earlier this month Tim Allen also took the time to defend the actress. “I go way back with Rosie and that’s not the Rosie I know,” he said at the time. “Whatever got in her head isn’t the Roseanne I know.”
