Northern Michigan’s giant sequoia must be seen to be believed

Photos and video just can not do this tree justice. The Michigan Champion giant sequoia simply must be seen to be believed. At 76 years old, it’s thriving near Lake Michigan at Lake Bluff Farms in Manistee Township, Mich. Planted in 1948, it’s the largest giant sequoia tree east of the Rocky Mountains at 116 feet tall and 5 feet in diameter.
