A former Isabella jail guard has been sentenced to probation, anger management class, and will never again work in corrections for assaulting an inmate in 2020. Christopher Cluley, 48, of Mt. Pleasant was sentenced Thursday to one year of probation for the in-custody jailhouse assault of an Isabella County inmate. Cluley pleaded no contest to one count each of Aggravated Assault and Willful Neglect of Duty in April.
