Brand-new monthly events will take place on the last Friday of each month, June 28, July 26, and August 30 in Mt. Pleasant. From 6 to 9 pm, downtown businesses plan on staying open later than normal, while the community is welcome to shop their in-store deals, discounts or specials, while listening to live music. It’s called “Final Fridays” and is coordinated by the owners of Sleepy Dog Books.
