Isabella Citizens for Health started in a small office leased from McLaren Central Michigan on Health Parkway, then relocated to a newly-built clinic just north of the original location in 2019. Serving a need because Isabella, Clare and Gratiot counties are all considered medically underserved, the office recently opened a new wing, creating a now 52,000 square-foot facility that houses family practitioners, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, lab services and a pharmacy. Growing from one physician and minimal support staff at the start, ICH now employs 125 people.
