Yesterday morning, an Alma student riding a bicycle was hit by a school bus. The district had advised that all student parents had been directly contacted. No students were on the bus when it struck the student about 7:47 a.m. at Bridge and Washington streets, northeast of downtown. Police say the bicyclist was taken by MMR to MyMichigan-Midland and is reported to be in stable condition.
