In an effort to continue improvements to the Pere Marquette Rail Trail, Isabella County Parks and Recreation officials are hoping to obtain funding from a local non-profit agency. Isabella County commissioners during a regular meeting today are expected to discuss and approve Parks and Recreation Director Alexis Hansen’s application for an $11,000 grant from the Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation to go toward the Pere Marquette Rail Trail Beautification Project. Hansen can submit the grant application after commissioners approve the request.
