Beal City Public Schools went into secure mode on Wednesday as police investigated a potential threat, that turned out to be unfounded.  In secure mode, students & staff continued educational activities within the school buildings. The potential threat had something to do with the recent issues at St. Joseph the Workers which led to the resignation of the parish priest.
