The Gratiot County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents of a new telephone scam.  The person who calls claims to be a deputy or Detective Simmons from the Sheriff’s Dept, telling them they have warrants or they’ll have warrants issued if they don’t send them money over the phone. Do not fall for this scam & contact the Sheriff’s department immediately!
