Ever since the rise of the #MeToo movement, female celebrities left and right have spoken out with their support. That apparently does not include Pamela Anderson, who slammed the movement in an interview with Australia’s “60 Minutes” on Sunday.
The former Playboy model said that the movement is “a bit too much” for her, calling modern-day feminism “a bore,” although she insists she is a feminist. “I think this feminism can go too far,” she added. “I think it paralyzes men”
In her mind, the victims making allegations against Harvey Weinsteincould have used “common sense” by avoiding his so-called “business meetings.” “My mother taught me don’t go to a hotel with a stranger,” she continued. “If someone opens the door in a bathrobe and it’s supposed to be a business meeting, maybe I should go with somebody else.” Check out a clip of the interview below.
