The stars of “This is Spinal Tap” will be able to pursue their lawsuit after all. A judge ruled that Harry Shearer, Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Rob Reiner have the right to sue Vivendi’s Universal Music Group and Studiocanal for allegedly underpaying them music royalties fro the film. According to the paperwork, which was filed in 2016, the guys want million of dollars from soundtrack music sales from 1989 to 2006.
