Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves’ romance in their upcoming romcom “Destination Wedding” may be more legit than it appears. How? In a recent interview, Ryder reveals that it’s entirely possible that she and the actor are married for real since filming “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” together back in 1992.
“I swear to god I think we’re married in real life,” muses Ryder, recalling the wedding scene with Reeves in the “Dracula” film. “In that scene, Francis [Ford Coppola] used a real Romanian priest. We shot the master and he did the whole thing.” Wishful thinking or a legal binding?
She adds that they even shot the scene on Valentine’s Day, which is enough to convince Reeves that it was the real deal. “Oh my gosh, we’re married,” he responds. Regardless, the on-screen (and now possibly off-screen) couple can be seen in “Destination Wedding” which hits theaters on August 31st.
