About $4.3 milion dollars have already been raised for a new Opera House in downtown Alma. The number is very close to their $5 million goal. The $5 million needed is a minimum amount and is mainly being raised in gifts and pledges. The renovated building will also be a mixed use property with 40 student apartments on its second and third floors.
