From Dr. Dave Ultimate Prep:
Pennsylvania’s Sexual Offenders Assessment Board is recommending that Bill Cosby be declared a “sexually violent predator,” which would force him to register in the national sex offender database and go through treatment. He would also have to notify whatever community he’s in of his status.
The details of the board’s findings have not been made public, but Cosby will have to go through an additional hearing where the judge will determine whether he is a sexual predator. There, Cosby would be allowed to have his own expert witness perform an assessment and testify.
The judge will then decide whether to agree with the state board’s recommendation or reject the findings. As you might recall, Cosby was convicted of three counts of aggravated indecent assault in April and has been in house arrest since his conviction. His sentencing is scheduled for September.
