Harry Anderson has died. The 65-year-old was found dead at his home in Asheville, North Carolina yesterday day. No foul was suspected.
Anderson was best known for his work on “Night Court” as Judge Harry Stone. He got the job because of his appearance on “Cheers,” but he wasn’t an actor. His forte was magic. He said, “By the time they figured out that I couldn’t act scared on the subway at 4 a.m., I already had a five-year contract.”He also appeared on “Dave’s World,“ and in the 1990s miniseries adaptation of Stephen King’s “It.”
In addition to Harry’s wife, Elizabeth Morgan, and their two children, Eva and Dashiell, he leaves a host of friends and fans to celebrate his legacy.
