The hit late-2000s game show “Deal or No Deal” is coming back to television. The show’s original host, Howie Mandel, will return for the revival, which is set to air on CNBC. The show originally aired on prime time for four years, premiering in 2005, on NBC. CNBC’s chairman Mark Hoffman had this to say about the revival: “Our primetime programs, with their focus on business and money, strive to be both entertaining and instructive. Shows like ‘The Profit’ and ‘Shark Tank’ are built around high stakes and high rewards. Those same elements live at the heart of ‘Deal or No Deal,’ which is why we believe it to be a perfect fit.”
