Casting is underway for a new Lifetime movie about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s romance. The cable network made the announcement for the film at the winter TCA press tour. “Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story” will be directed by Menhaj Huda, who has previously worked on E!’s fictional series, “The Royals.”
The film will follow the Prince and Markle’s relationship from when they met through their engagement. It will also touch on the media attention surrounding the couple and even Markle’s life as a divorced actress.
There is no official premiere date on the movie, however it’s speculated to come out in May, just before the royal wedding. Lifetime previously released “William & Kate: The Movie” in a similar manner, with its premiere just 11 days before the couple’s royal wedding.
