An Isabella County jury found former CMU football player Malik Fountain not guilty of four assault charges. Police arrested Fountain on April 7th after an alleged assault of Saginaw residents Mackenzie Maul and Chylcie Lett at the Wayside on December 2nd. The jury reached the verdict after less than 30 minutes of deliberation on Thursday. Fountain said after the trial “I’m happy my name has been cleared…I’m not the person they tried to claim I was.”
