Gov. Whitmer signed bills yesterday that are expected to alleviate school district debt, invest in infrastructure & support community colleges & public universities. The bills would lower the cost for families by providing debt relief to the struggling districts with financial distress in Inkster, Benton Harbor, Muskegon Heights, Pontiac & Ypsilanti. It’ll also help students in filling out their FAFSA & receive the Michigan Achievement Scholarship.
