After several months of discussion, debate & public hearings, the Alma city commission has finally approved an ordinance that will allow the operation of recreational marijuana facilities in the city. They voted 5-2 during Tuesday nights meeting for the licensing and regulation of several types of adult use pot businesses, including retail shops. The new rules will go into effect 15 days after its passing.
