An Isabella County man and three Clare County men were charged Friday afternoon with armed robbery and other crimes after an alleged attempt to steal drugs in Mt. Pleasant ended in a police chase on northbound U.S. 127 earlier in the week. 31 year old Joshua Al-William Carlton, of Mt. Pleasant; Jordan Weslee Carlton, 29, of Harrison; Cameron Jeffrey-Sheldon Carlton, 27, of Clare; and Randy Allen Grubaugh, 25, of Harrison were each charged Friday in Isabella County Trial Court with armed robbery, punishable by any number of years up to and including life. All (4) remained in the Isabella County jail as of yesterday.
