In an effort to get residents involved in their local government, the city of Mt. Pleasant is now accepting applications for their 7th annual Citizens Academy. It will take place in weekly sessions, starting on February 21st. They’ll look at fundamentals such as budget, utilities and public works along with police & fire functions.
