A Gilmore township man was arrested last week after his estranged wife told officer that he raped her. The 55 year old woman contacted Sheriff Michael Main via email & told him her ex raped her in early October. In the email it was explained they were living together at the time. She also stated he was verbally abusive towards her & had several extra-martial affairs. The man is currently lodged in the Isabella Co Jail & arraigned Monday on 1 count of 1st degree criminal sexual conduct causing injury.
