Amanda Schafer has announced that she’s stepping down as the Chief Executive & Operating Officer of the Mt Pleasant Area Community Foundation, after 13+ years. A search for a new CEO/COO will begin in next month. Amanda says “stepping down is bittersweet, yet it’s time for me to take a deep breath & explore what I want to do next!” This year alone, the foundation has already distributed more than $1.1 million in grants & scholarships.
