Three elderly women have died of COVID-19 in Clare County. Two of the women were residents of North Woods Nursing Center. Half of the county’s total deaths were residents of the nursing home, which has resulted in 35 residents and 20 staff contracting the disease. The third woman, who was hospitalized prior to her death, died Oct. 24.
