We previously reported that Orlando Bloom sent out a call to fans to help him find his dog Mighty, who went missing last week around Santa Barbara, California. Unfortunately, the star has now confirmed that his beloved teacup poodle has passed on.
“Mighty’s on the other side now. After 7 days of searching from sunrise to sunset and into the wee hours, today, the 7th day ~the number of completion~ we found his collar,” he writes on Instagram. “I feel so grateful to have learned from my little Mighty man that love is eternal and the true meaning of devotion.”
To honor man’s best friend, Bloom has gotten some new ink. In the video shared on Instagram, Bloom can be seen getting a tattoo of Mighty’s name above his heart.
