If Natalie Portman and Serena Williams have their way, women’s soccer will become a reality in Los Angeles by 2022. The ladies, who are part of a larger group of powerful women known as Angel City, are working with the National Women’s Soccer League to establish the city’s first pro team.

The lead investors are Portman, tech mogul Kara Northman, gaming guru Julie Uhrman, and Serena’s husband, Alexis Ohanian.
