Keanu Reeves has starred in action movies for decades, but now he’s officially a superhero. In case you missed it, the actor is stepping into the role of a comic book hero with a brand new comic book, “BRZRKR” [[berserker]], set to be released monthly starting October 7th.

The concept isn’t too far off from Keanu’s roles in movies like “The Matrix” and “John Wick” – and since the publisher has a first-look deal with Netflix, fans may see the actor play the superhero on screen, too. He’s teamed up with Matt Kindt for the new comic book, that promises to be “action-packed and hyperviolent,” about a half-man half-god who was born 80,000 years ago… and happens to look exactly like Keanu Reeves.

“It’s a little fantasy in reality. I had this image in my head of a guy fighting through the ages because of his father’s compulsion to violence,” he says, noting the character’s also a man “trapped and trying to figure it out.”
