Bridger Walker is getting love from the whole “Avengers” crew. As we told you, Nikki Walker shared the story of how her nephew saved his sister from a dog attack. She appealed to members of “The Avengers” and other heroes to cheer him up as he recovers. After Chris Evans promised to send the six-year-old his Captain America shield, Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland joined him in sending Bridger good wishes.
Robert – in true Tony Stark fashion – decided to one-up Chris’ gift in a video message. After calling the child a rockstar, he told him, “I hear [Captain America] sent a shield your way. I’m gonna do one better, you call me on your next birthday. I got something special for you. By the way, that’s a promise. A promise beats a shield.”
Meanwhile, Tom spoke to Bridger on a video call and outdid them all. “If you ever want to come to set and hang out, and see the ‘Spider-Man’ suit up close, and hang out with us, you’re always welcome,” Holland said. “I want to say you are so brave, mate. We are all so proud of you, and your little sister is so lucky to have someone like you.” Bridger was dressed appropriately in his little “Spider-Man” suit for the call.Nice!
