Steve Bing has died. The 55-year-old jumped from the 27th floor of a luxury apartment building in the Century City area of Los Angeles. Sources say he’d been depressed about the lack of human contact during quarantine. The writer and producer was best known for writing “Kangaroo Jack” and investing in Tom Hanks’ “The Polar Express.” He leaves behind two children – Kira Bonder, whom he had with pro tennis player, Lisa Bonder; and Damian Hurley, from his relationship with Elizabeth Hurley. In an Insta-tribute, she said that they’d actually grown closer over the past year. The last time they spoke was their son’s 18th birthday. “This is devastating news, and I thank everyone for their lovely messages,” she said.
